Manny got him twice really well, and then he did not want to go for the kill.

Agree it was boring and glad there were several of us to split the cost... That's how $ wins, though. His defense is "impregnable." Not an exciting fight for people who aren't in to boxing but I'm sure those that follow boxing appreciated it. Last two rounds it was as if Manny just wanted to last 12 rounds, collect his paycheck and get out of there. They knew he was behind but he never acted like he was behind.

it was a typical mayweather fight. boring. too bad manny couldn't set the tone. he had the same problem most fighters have against mayweather.

Read manny got a shoulder injury and the doctors screw him up saying that he couldn't not take any medicine for the problem that night. That could explain why the hemorrhage of punches he usually gives to the opponent were barely saw, probably thats why he did not go for the kill when he could.

I would have to say that I believe him - he is not one to make excuses - got robbed in that Bradley fight and never complained.
That would also explain the lack jabs. I was hoping for a more action packed fight - waited 5 years for this fight and it was kinda of a let down - the 2 preliminaries were not that great either.
