I'm not sure what to make of this article: yelling positive things at cyclists

link

I'm not sure if it isn't tongue in cheek, but I'd really rather someone NOT yell anything out the window negative OR positive.

Pay attention to your driving and not some witty bon mot!

Yeah, I wouldn't want to disrupt your Strava KOM.

Happens to me on occasion (people yelling things at me from their cars)... I can never understand what they are saying... Just a blur as they pass. I assume they are complementing me on my form, though.

When I was young, I occasionally had girls complement my legs, but they didn't stay to check out the rest.

I had a carload of women half my age yell "nice ass," at me. The look of shock when they saw the grey beard was priceless.

Video PROOF!!!!

From fly 6 attached to my then 9 year old sons PK ripper BMX bike.

Car was on our ass, wouldn't pass, finally did and it was an old(er) couple and they waived 'hi' as they went by.

I felt like an ass for the whatever-it-was seconds I was aggressive in my thoughts.

all I want from a motorist is to keep their mouth shut and stay off the horn.

some dufus with a 'Be Kind to Cyclists' bumper sticker was yelling at me today for riding on the white stripe...at the time this happened, the bike lane was full of gravel and broken glass.

eff off, jerk.
