Nice.. don't worry about D-A, Ultegra is great stuff..

I gotta say whoever was the original purchaser of your frame had great taste, that is a great paint/color combination and you're careful this bike will look awesome.

Edit: Just saw they are offering free tires with the 6800 group. So maybe a better deal on Merlin. But Ribble has more options available to you if you want wider gearing or a specific crank configuration.
+1. I bought my 6800 group through Ribble. I liked that they had all of the options for crank length, gearing, and FD clamp. No issues with them, got it a week later.

Poo poo the naysayers to Ultegra on your Ottrott.

It looks great, works awesome, and if you shop around for 10 speed ultegra (new or gently used), even better. And, the 6700 ultegra finish is a pretty close match to the ti.

OK, normally I am not cool with such perfect color matching, however, um . . .that looks awesome!!!!!!! And you didn't go overboard with white cables.

Well done.

I'd go 6800 throughout (incl wheelset) and Deda zero 100 grey finishing kit. Honestly, 6800 is so sweet, shifts and brakes are so light and smooth and the build quality just feels excellent. An Ottrott is more of an Aston Martin than a track day special car - you don't need 9000 / Red / SR on it and you don't need more than 6800 wheels on it. Trust me, I have an Ottortt as well!

Looks like there's a Chris King BB in the photo. Is that not included with the bike?

Got a little lucky today. Was in a local design competition with some friends here at college and ended up placing second, netting each of us almost $900. This will pay for my ultegra groupset (I just ordered!) and these following wheels. 6800 hubs with Archetype rims, I weigh about 180-190, and these were recommended by the place I talked too for an affordable/durable set.

Not sure if it is included to be honest, but the groupset will come with one and I figured I should just install that, unless there is a benefit to leaving the current one on there?

Does anyone have any preferences when it comes to handlebar tape and innertubes? Will probably just go to the LBS to get what they have, but figured I would ask here first

Tubes are pretty generic, so no big deal there. One thing you'll have to decide is if you want your tube to have a threaded valve body or not. The answer depends on what type of chuck you have on your pumps. If you have a Silca floor pump you want the no-thread type. Other than that, there aren't a whole lot of option. (Butyl is fine, no need to go latex.)

Edit: I tend to prefer the threadless type, even though I've given up on my Silca pump. They're easier to work with. I've had good luck with both Continental and Michelin tubes, but generic Performance or Nashbar tubes can be fine also. For all I know there might be only one tube plant in Malaysia making all of them.

Bar tape is a different matter - there are tons of options, with significant differences in material, thickness and feel. If you're just starting off you may want to choose tape that's easy to wrap. The stretchier the tape the easier it will be for that. I'd talk to the guys at the LBS, ask them to explain the differences between what they have on offer and pick one. If you don't like it you can always try something different.

Good Luck

Tubes are tubes. Whatever they've got in stock.

I like Fizik tape myself, but that's another personal preference thing, especially since you'll be touching it all the time.
