Changing Campagnolo Freehub for Shimano on a Bora WTO 45

I am trying to swap out a Campagnolo free-hub for a 12-speed Shimano one. The Campagnolo instructions call for a proprietary tool- (UT-WHDB001 or UT-WHDB002) Looking at the design, I see no obvious place for the Campagnolo tool to slot into as it's a completely smooth surface end to end. Am I crazy? I hesitate to buy something if it's unclear if this will work. Alternatively, is there a common tool that will work for this procedure rather than buying yet another specialty tool.

C11 and S11 are cross compatible so I'd try C12 running your S12 cassette before changing it out

Although I know they probably work well together, I have already bought some Shimano cassettes so I might as well use them
