Bending the rules a little, as I've only seen online. Just had to be shared.

My next door neighbor as a kid was an older gentleman. He had a Mercedes 300SL convertible. Cream with read leather. Every spring and fall, he’d ask me to come over to attach a pulley system to his garage ceiling to lift and store his hard top. Life changing car.

Someone in my home town of Charleston WV owned a Porsche 904 which they drove on the street. Always an amazing sight.

Fancy export version of our base model Zaporozhets family car in the USSR (Ukraine) in the early 1970s.

I occasionally see a Laforza around town. I’ll do everyone a favor by not posting a pic.

Not sure it’s the most obscure thing I’ve seen, but it reliably induces a double take.

Thumbs up

For me that would probably be a mid-1980s Renault R5 Turbo2. Way funky.

I see these all the time since they're mine. The red one was my primary bike carrier about 10 years ago.
The 124 coupe is downright georgeous, also the pre facelift version. Love those hardtop-like greenhouses, which are also present on the Fulvia Coupe or (a hint of it) on the Mercedes W113 Coupe (230 SL).
Back when Fiat made pretty cars that were cleverly designed and also pretty good...
