Fillet brazed and Bi-laminate bikes = Sexy

I need to take some updated pictures (along with some close ups) of my compact CSi since it is now has a new fork, stem, saddle, pedals, tires and bar tape. But I do like this fillet brazed machine

Here's a shot I just took of Johny with his Kirk at the Ramble. The brazed fillets and fork lug, together with the paint and straight seatstays held my eye for so long I asked if he would pose with it. I meant to take some closeups but got distracted, but here it is on DK's site: http://www.kirkframeworks.com/photogallery2.htm .

As an aside, I really enjoyed John's company at the Ramble despite the fact that he is a fellow academic scientist (cycling clearly trumps everything personality-wise). He also has a great family --his wife and 3 unnaturally cute little boys accompanied him on Saturday.

Thanks Lew. I enjoyed failng to get anything specific done on Friday with BBDave and you. The whole Ramble weekend is just wonderful...way beyond words, again big thanks to dbrk and everyone.

A bike I couldn't resist on eBay, freshly repainted by Airglow and a model I always thought was kinda cool. Supposedly silver fillet brazed, whatever that means. Interesting fork, appears to be some kind of filleted unicrown...
