Walleva replacement lenses for Oakley?
Hi all, I have a couple pair of Oakley Jawbones that I still like, but are in desperate need of new lenses.
Are Walleva lenses OK? For the record, I really don't care about impact resistance. I use them mostly for running and driving. More concerned about if they are good in terms of clarity and UV protection? Thx! |

i've got several sets for my flak jackets and they've been fine. my only issue with them has been the metallic type coatings rubbing off fairly easily. stick to the normal polarized and you can't go wrong though.

How about Revant or Seek Optics(Amazon)? Some reviews say the tint is off, like really yellow for the blue iridium lenses.

Wallevas are awesome. Never any issues. All I buy for my jawbreakers.

Metallic finish wore off, couldn't see through them. Wouldn't buy again.

I really like the Fuse replacement lenses I got for some older Oakleys: http://www.fuselenses.com/. I don't know if I tried Walleva, but I bought and returned a couple of the brands selling in eBay because they seemed thin and cheap compared to the originals. Fuse are just as thick as the original lenses, at least for my Oakley Dispatches...
