$200 per watt

The other thing is the 3 watts has to be at a certain wattage, it's a percentage not an absolute number. So Wiggo might save six watts and I might save 1.5.

The link above is fun.

For me (148# @200watt output) adding 10 watts by buying a new DR with big wheels and their pricey slick chain would increase my speed by 1/2 MPH or @ 2.5%.

Obviously then I could work out less, eat more donuts, and stay just as "fast".

I think these guys are onto something.

numbskull, I like your common sense style.

yesterday, on my way to the World Famous Rose Bowl Ride, I had a moment of inadequacy. you see, I wasn't rocking deep carbon like all the other WFRBR cats. i thought, they have it so much easier than me! then it occurred to me (thanks Specialized!) that my super tight Raphaz Aero Pro jersey and my aero Giro helmet along with my super low super PRO position were going to be equalizers as the guys on deep carbon all have giant gutz which negate the 5 wattz wheel advantage. then we all rode in circles and got tired.

So aero. Faster than a 90s Honda

Then, I got hungry
