Slow build progress, but progress

Latest piece of puzzle for my ciocc build:

Frame? Hanging on the wall of my spare bedroom. Sorry you can't see it yet. I have to wait for the build, you have to wait for the frame ;-)

Custom stem....in progress, thanks to Eric and the wonderful winter bicycles.

Old potatoe custom built wheels.....in progress, thanks elder spud.

Latest is this donor saddle which is getting ready to head off to Australia for busyman to do his beautiful busywork:

Seems a shame to have a brand new take-off saddle recovered, but I'm sure it will be worth it.

Now I have to take a little break and save up for a nice gruppo.

I'm giddy with excitement and the wait is killing me.

Sounds like you are going all out. I think I'd try to find a scuffed saddle, but know it will take some time for the turnaround.

That's what I was going to do, but this one is unused and was only $50, so I couldn't pass it up.

I love the arione for its length. Plenty of room to scoot around on long rides.

Saddle looks like it's off to be recovered. I would say it's anyone's guess what it will end up being.
