Serotta Racing Frame - As A Fixie
This is my ride. I had Dave at Bicycle Works in NYC do a chromovelato paint job on a late 1980's Serotta racing frame.
Dave put in a Phil Wood bottom bracket, a Campagnolo Pista crankset, HKK Vertex Chain, laced Campagnolo Record tubular rims to Campy C Record (high flange in back, low flange in front) vintage hubs, installed a threaded Cane Creek 110 headset, and glued on the Vittoria tires. The rear cog is a Euro Asia Super Star. Riding a steel road frame set up as a fixie is great!!!! Cheers from NYC |
