OT: Ferrari in Indycar?
I'm guessing this may be typical political maneuvering by the management.
https://racer.com/2020/05/15/ferrari...otto-confirms/ They seemed serious 35 years ago when my team took a March to Italy to be tested and examined. That exercise resulted in the Ferrari 637 which was never raced - which is a shame and a loss to everyone who is a fan of the brand and the series. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ferrari_637 Indycar is looking for another engine supplier so I guess Ferrari could be a fit. But I can't imagine that Ferrari has a huge excess of employees involved with the engines, and employee salaries seem to be the cost area they are looking to shift. |
