Klein Q-Pro

Built this up last night, rode it on the club-run today, only thing it needed was the saddle up a little and a quarter turn on the rear mech adjuster.

So cool

That is freakin awesome!! When I worked at a shop I lusted after one of these so bad. Always loved Klein's paint, and this one is fantastic.

Thanks all - it's far from perfect in terms of finish, but still looks quite nice.

Rides brilliantly, really enjoyed my (first) ride out on it this morning.

Back in the day I must have looked at that frame in the Klein catalog a thousand times. What a perfect build!

I had read an interview a while back about one of the europro guys riding a Vitus or some kind of super heavy 22 pound bike in the tour. One day he happened to check out a rebadged Klein that one of the other team's leaders was riding during the day. That bike was like 5 pounds lighter than his, and he knew that his day was over even before the race started...

Beautiful and balanced. Would love to hear a more detailed ride report. How's she feel?

oh man! so good! beautiful bike and a perfect build for her!

I have two (possibly dumb) questions related to the below image:
1) what happened to the pivot bolt on your front brake?
2) I'm not super familiar with this bike but I don't see a fork crown to lower headset/head tube junction like that too often. is the lower bearing exposed or is there a shield over it?
