6800 brakes w/ 6700 levers

I have a bike with 6700 components that I ride occasionally and would like to put on some 6800 brake calipers. Will the 6700 levers function OK the 6800 calipers?

Yep. I have direct experience. 6770 levers with new 6800 calipers installed a week ago. Works just as well as 6870/6800 and 6770/6700.
