OT: Grab a beer, see a movie in Larkspur 9/15

Really OT: I will be in Larkspur CA on September 15th as the organization I run is hosting a conservation film along with a local land trust: https://wildlandsnetwork.org/event/j...-%F0%9F%90%BA/

Sadly due to other commitments I can't bring a bike, which is killing me given the photos I've seen posted here and across the hall re rides in Marin. But, if any of the local Paceliners are inclined to see a movie and maybe grab a beer, let me know and I'll keep an eye out!

Greg

It would be a mistake to be in Larkspur and not go to Donut Alley.

That sounds like an appropriate carbo loading venue!

Can't bring a bike or don't have time to ride? Those are two very different issues.

True that, also head to the Silver Peso for a beer and a hepatitis inoculation.

Seriously, the Left Bank is a great spot to dine.

Closing on a new house and moving that weekend. Bad form to leave that task to spouse while off riding ; )

Oh yeah! One of my good pals was Chief Driving Instructor for Golden Gate Chapter BMWCCA. We would have a couple schools at Sears Point each year and I often stayed at his home in Greenbrae. A pre-dawn visit to Donut Alley was a requirement and the amazing assortment we brought to share with other instructors at the track made us very popular.

Fair. If it was a bring a bike issue, there are lots of forumites local who I'm sure would be willing to lend you a ride.

Yeah maybe Lionel could just leave that little gravel grinder of his at Houston's house. I could put up with a little lower back pain from that saddle to bar drop and everything else would be spot on ; )
