Now I ride the black super feet insoles made for dress shoes in all my shoes and they seemed to have solved that issue for me. You can buy them on Amazon. Worth a try if you're having discomfort.

I've been through that too and moving cleat back to get pedal a bit more toward center relieved that for me. Now I've just moved it as far back as it goes.
