Social norms move slowly and by no means universally, expecting everyone else to have the same standards as you does not work. Obviously people are free to use their free speech and consumer dollars to make your opinions known. That is the way that a free society changes it's values. I would prefer to live in a place that accommodates difference gracefully, especially when those differences cut closely to your most dearly held beliefs.

the use of "safe space" here is strange, if we accept that their are sides in this, then the politically correct types are the ones that demand "safe spaces". Homophobia and the objectification of women are not funny, one does not have to think that to make room for the people that do, what other choice do we have? political reeducation at the gulag?

Cmon man, don't be willfully obtuse. That's 100% what the image is implying.

Ya just can't legislate against stupid.
Although, many on either side of the political spectrum have vociferously made that argument. Frankly, to me, that is more frightening than anything. Anyway, as to Wolf whatever, dumb of the owners to not have at least policies, let alone systems and processes, in place that would prevent that kind of thing from happening without meaningful consequence (immediate termination, personal liability, etc). It hadn't occurred to me until you brought it up, but then again I don't think of homosexuality as being bad. I see a guy symbol, associated with bathrooms, and those female silhouettes, associated with trailer truck mud-flaps. You either get to hang out with two of those ladies or a group of those ladies, and we all know how fun that must be(no offense ladies)! Or you get to hang out with your bro, who probably talks about bikes and rides bikes and you know is your bro. But hey everyone's got their own baggage.

we certainly live in a world where, if you do something offensive on a company's social media, you get fired. No need to blow it out of proportion.

Of all the things going on in the world, THIS is what people get upset about?
While silly, tasteless, and completely untrue, it's not worth the reaction this is getting. I have a big Wolftooth order in the cart, and this incident will not change my purchase decision. They still make incredible parts, here in Minnesota. |

I know exactly what you mean - there's so much more important stuff to worry about. Like, where's the outrage about United Airlines not allowing girls to fly on comp tickets while wearing leggings?
