Lugged Masi in the works

I've posted afew "raw" detail shots of my (new) lugged Masi in the Custom Bikes image gallery. It looks pretty good to my untrained eyes. I am told by the importer (MilanoSport) that these will be made in Albertos shop. The bike is at the paintshop now (Koolbikes), should be back by end of month. I'll post more shots then.

Hey Jeff...

maybe you'll ride faster now.

Umm...is it just me or is there a problem with your photos? Looks like you kept the lens cap on, is my guess.

Hmmm...how shall I put this? I happen to know that these Masis are not or until this very one have never been built in Alberto's shop. In fact, I know exactly who makes them and that might be enough to leave you smiling even more. It's a good thing, fear not, be happy, these are very cool bikes.

Did everyone get that? These are Richie-issimo's lugs and fork crown, which only adds to charm and quality of these bikes. Lovely, clean, handsome, classic, the whole ball of wax... But I'm sort of not at liberty to out the builder and there may be more than one builder (though I seriously doubt it...). What's not to like? It really doesn't matter who builds them when they are built this well. I mean, no one really asks here who welded or brazed your Serotta. It isn't Ben anymore than these are Alberto's!

Whoa!!! let's all line up to buy one....But why am I so dense? Why are they being rebadged?

Sorry: my message posted right after Douglas's, so it's not as relevant anymore.
