Yup. Both for straight and curved blades, whatever your flavor.

Lots of options thanks a lot. I'm liking Whiskey, looks solid, but they don't make tapered it appears.

anyone have a good carbon tapered matte-ish fork out there?

^^^ Sure - Enve!

The Look HSC6 is tapered, too, but good luck finding one.

Matte a Columbus Grammy?

I think this is the most handsome fork on the market right now.

Wow that's right on the money. Good looks, good price, good reviews. Though, I can't seem to find where to buy one...

Moots.

The old straight 1 1/8 fork is on sale.
The new tapered fork is matte black.

fwiw I just ordered a tapered fork. My near-new 1 1/8 fork will be looking for a new home in a couple weeks if anyone is interested - it has tons of tire room with the right brake caliper.

Planet X has them for $275

Or go through your local builder. Do note, this is how they look stock though - you'll need to matte paint it:

That's a good looking fork! Looks like Columbus doesn't make a 1 1/4" tapered though. Womp womp.

Just get a 44mm headtube and use a CK i7.

check out TRPs forks

thru axle option and nice aesthetics, with interesting cable routing

Also Seven Cycles has a new carbon fork out, eyelets for fenders, bolt route for big lights, and can do options for say generator hub wire routing

cheers

I'm pretty unfamiliar with the headset area, usually just have a shop set it and forget it. so with a 44mm HT, i7 + 1.5 tapered = i8 + 1.25 tapered? same exterior and visual result? is one preferable over the other?

Yes i7 is for 1.5 taper and i8 is for 1.25 taper. They both fit in 44mm head tubes.

The i7 has a slightly larger dia on the bottom cup.
The 1.5 taper fork crown is 5mm wider than the 1.25 crown (this is enve numbers, don't know other manufacturers stats if they offer both fork tapers).

I think bigger = stiffer?

But as long as the headtube is the same (44mm), I believe the visual will be identical. The only thing that will really change is the cup...and that's a slight difference. i8 and i7 look identical to me.

But they are not.
