Reminds me of the 2014 Almanzo 100.

Built the beautiful cream Bedford Rando from here for one of my riding partners and finished it the night before the race as he flew into Minnesota.

First test ride was the 103 miles and 8,000 plus feet of climbing the next morning. Finished strong.

Have fun, ride hard!

Be forewarned there is a sustain 10-18% grade climb that always seems very hot. Even today, I unzipped my jersey.

Thanks. Follow my instagram feed if you want to see more.
Thanks Joost! I know what I'm doing this weekend.

Drop bar

I had this bike with upright city bar configuration for past two years. Finally converted back to rando mode for proper gravel riding last week.

Spent the weekend at the Sea Otter Classic with Joe Breeze, who was showing his line of "gravel bikes." Joe doesn't care much for the term, so he made a little sign identifying the bike as a "Stoner Bike."

Been sitting on this Mosaic XT1 while I settled on a setup and had fender mounts added on. Ended up with Campy Chorus with CX-11 crankset, Yokozuna Motoko brakeset, Mavic Ksyrium Pro Allroad wheels. Whisky no.9 TA fork. Mounts for fenders on fork and rear triangle. Currently wearing 40mm Clement MSO tires. Road Runner bags.

This is my Signal Cycles bike. Set up with Campy Athena, Paul Racers, Record-Belgium wheelset, Clement USH 35 mm. Been riding it for a few years. Tried selling it a few times but luckily no one ran with it.

That Mosaic is a stunner. Would love to see some more pictures in the Picture Gallery.

How are the Campy levers working with the brakes?
How much does it weight (we had a whole discussion here about getting a gravel machine around 18lbs...
