I liked Butch (at least his online persona) as well and hadn't realized that this had happened. Kinda crazy and interesting at the same time. I had sent him a few cooler-weather clothing items as well when he made the move to SF and was happy to do so. I still miss his posts and was just wondering a few months ago what had happened to him.

Geoff (Firerescuefin) and Dr. Brooks (DBRK) are two others whose posts I miss...

Fixed did seem like a nice guy, outrageous post count, and I seem to recall something about him re-inventing himself in SF as a yoga devotee after leaving the forum... good for him.

I am all in favor of the 'Anon' internet lifestyle, but some of his tall tales really crossed the line.

Mary Anne indeed lives in Australia and married Mr Llewellyn, as far as I know. She has good taste.

I met both Dazza and Mary-Anne at the Bespoked show in Bristol in April this year and introduced myself. We had an extremely pleasant chat about a whole bunch of things. Really nice people.

By the way, those Llewellyn bikes might look good in photos on the internet, but nothing prepares you for how gorgeous they are in real life.

Not much hurricane damage to his place but the area is a mess.
