Found One! - 2016 Supersix Evo Hi Mod
Set up with Ultegra 6800, Cannondale Si crankset, inexpensive carbon wheels. Bike looks well kept in the pix. What's a reasonable price?
Angry's WW thread has me musing, and the SS seems like a fine place to start.

Probably around $1500, but up to $2000. Depending on condition. Ask for pics of the bottom bracket area, drop outs areas. Look out for areas of a dropped chain.

i'd say closer to 1500 based on the components, the wheels and the older supersix. i think 2017 onwards(?) was when the supersix was redesigned -- lighter, more tire clearance, and a new fork.

I would not want to dissuade you from a getting a supersix. if it is an itch you want to scratch, by all means go for it, especially for 1500. but i want to tell you my experiences with a 2013 BLACK INC SuperSix Evo HiMod and a 2018 SuperSix HiMod (both rims brakes).
The 2013 was the top-of-the-line Nano Ballistics Tech (does eyeroll) and retailed at 12000. I bought the bike two years ago. Aside the the razor sharp handling (which is out-of-this-world), the bike was okay. My 2020 Trek Emonda SLR "felt" more solid and handled even better. The 2018 Supersix handled similar to the 2018. But man, the ride was stiff even with Bora Ultra tubulars. I could not handle any rides more than 2.5 hours long. The road buzz was not only transmiited to the handlebars but I felt it was amplified. It was fun to build both bikes to 12.5 lb. To me the weight was the allure. Soon after, I sold both bikes after owning them for less than 9-10 months. But stomping on the pedals of a 12.5 lb bike on >11% grades is a feeling one ought to have. Bucket list. I just wish there were frames with a better ride quality that were just as light as the HiMod and handled just as good. Aethos, Argonaut, Pursuit, Crumpton all come to mind. But we are not going to compare a 1500 bike to 6000+ framesets, now are we. |

This is interesting; a 2018 SuperSix ranks as the third best riding bike I have ridden (No. 1 is an Argonaut RM3 and No. 2 is my old Seven Elium SLX).

Here is my 2016 I purchased in 2019 for 2250.00.
Mint condition, Dura Ace drive train and Ultegra wheels. I replaced the wheels with BTLOS carbon and you can see the weight. I've been very happy. The ride quality is wonderful. I ran it on Craigslist with and older set of Dura Ace wheels for 1750.00 and didn't even get a scammer to answer. Used market has really dropped in price. Offer 1250.00? I'm glad I kept it. Much better bike than my Spec Roubaix or Felt plastic bikes. |

The SSEvo HiMod is such an awesome bike. From 2016 on the tire clearance is 28+ and the bike rides smooth and responsively. It makes a perfect WW platform. My 58cm frame weighs 810gm.
I’ve been debating trying to sell mine but I don’t know what to list it for. Only has 32 miles on it since a repaint by Dark Matter. I would love to ask and get $3000 but I don’t know if that’s realistic anymore. Thus it continues to hang from the rafters. |

There’s a Focus Izalco Max frame sitting in the classifieds for $600. The Evo frame isn’t worth much more, if any…6800 mechanical is worth maybe 200-300? Generic wheels another 300? So maybe 1200 for the whole bike…I definitely wouldn’t pay over 1.5

I had 28s that measured almost 30mm on my 2018 model 58cm frame with adequate clearance (was about 4 mm if I recall correctly).

Isn't cannondale known for being all over the place with clearance?

I believe it was '17 onwards, my '16 could only fit 25s but anyway...

My Googling says the increased tire clearance came in 2016 on the Hi-Mod and 2017 on the regular Evo. One seller I'm talking with says 28s fit fine on his 2016 Hi-Mod.
