Veloflex master vs corsa

Any significant differences?

Bike tires direct has them on sale

Also to benefit the forum I assume we should click on the link at top and not go directly there

Pretty sure it's the other way around...Master has tan walls as an option and Corsa does not. "Sales Guy" on the forum has shed a lot of info on these tires. I love them to death and will never buy a different brand than the Veloflex Corsa's.

The Master was pretty much the only tire I rode, when I was a clincher guy. Carrying tubes got the best of me and pinch flats.

Clincher Master - Gumwall
Clincher Corsa - Black, Blue and Red Color options

Tubular Roubaix - Gumwall
Tubular Arenberg - All Black

In case you haven't bought already; PBK has them for less. I just bought two Veloflex carbons for 131 and free shipping, saved almost $20 compared to tires direct.

Not sure why you bought them from PBK when biketiresdirect will price match anyone. I just got three veloflex Corsa's in a 25c for $95.97 shipped.

I always order these from ebay. Usually priority mail shipped from low-volume importers. Sometimes you can snag barely used ones for $20-25 each.

Best clinchers in the world. I once toured 1000 miles in 9 days on a set of master 23's, loaded up, lots of dirt and gravel. Zero flats.

Do you know why Ribble states that they are not for use on carbon rims?

"Some models of carbon fiber wheels have a sharp and aggressive edge in the bead seat area, this could lead to the casing cutting of our clinchers.

Not being able to check every wheel on the market, we wrote this warning on our boxes, the responsibility of the use of our clinchers on those rims is on the behalf of the final user"
