What to do? Missing package

Missing a package from Competitive Cyclist. Ups says it was left on my porch. I checked with a few neighbors that said they were home when it was marked delivered. They dont know anything. It was on my porch about 4 hours before I got home. Big box with a wheelset so....... and porch is not hidden. Right out in the open. I dont know what sort of box a DuraAce wheelset ships in but my bet someone could tell what it was from the box.
I sent CC an email but am unsure what to do next.

Thoughts?

That sucks. Something very similar happened to me recently, on an item I actually bought from someone on here. The package was marked as delivered by usps, but it was never delivered. Yeah main problem was that I didn't track it until about 1.5 or 2 weeks later, as I was swamped with work and lost track of time. By then, it was hard to do anything about it at all, and the seller was right to say 'I'm sorry, I dunno what to tell you.' I had to just throw my hands up and take the loss. I hope you have better luck

Hopefully CC has something to tell you, but you may be at a loss otherwise. When the shipping company marks "Delivered", that's when they basically pass on the responsibility.. Good luck and let us know!

In my experience, ups ain't all that stellar when it comes to delivering packages. I'd be questioning ups intensely before I even bothered with the sender. Good luck...

should be on CC (and they do have a great customer service so they maybe help you), but they really should have not sent an item without signature confirmation. Or maybe they did send it that way and UPS just left it, if that is the case its on UPS.

Wait to see what CC says.

not to be a complete downer: I've had a package show 'delivered' only to have it arrive next-day. Sometimes the delivery people have a certain quota to meet and well..they cheat

this is true for USPS, never seen it happen with UPS/fedex.

High value items deserve signature on delivery. I typically have them delivered to my office even if it's inconvenient to get them home.

Call UPS, give them the tracking info. They will contact the driver and give you an update on where they left it or didn't leave it.

Ups

I just got a package from backcountry (same company as cc I believe)
It got "delivered" to the usps office and then usps dropped it off at my house.
Hopefully this is the case for you as well.

Happened to me once with FedEx. It was delivered to an address that has the same # and first part of the street name. Re-delivered the next day.
