I'll use something like an old solder brush ('cause they are cheap) or an old artist's pain brush.

got a butane torch?

that can sometimes help unstuck something that's stuck.

never heard of the acetone and atf fluid thing, i'll have to remember that one. sounds like a tasty cocktail.

I like to use a dripper bottle of some sort, or the old timey shop oil cans. Something you can meter it out slowly is best.

Torching pesky bolts when working on a car has worked for me...most of the time. There were a few instances the bolt was so bad that it I sheared the head off.

But, I would personally use a heat gun instead on a bike instead (or a really high powered hair dryer...think professionals level might do the trick).

For those curious - Kroil AeroKroil worked great after a week of soaking and the right campy tool*!

*probably would have worked without soaking with the right campy tool...

I'm using the old 50/50 ATF Acetone trick now on the brake lines of a 30 year old Mercedes and it aint workin' so great

Yet.

People have done tests to show it is the best oil though.

You waited too long, it worked great on some seized lug nuts on a 23 year old Acura.

I remember from long ago that Kroil has very tiny molecules, which aids in penetration. Smaller than PB B'laster and the ATF/acetone mix. Vibrations (knock with a hammer) help it to penetrate. It may take time to work deep enough, but it is the best I've found.
