2-Way Zip Packable Rain Jacket???

Looking for a two-way zip packable rain jacket. You know...that can zip open from bottom or top when closed. Don't mind paying for something nice if it works.

Only two I can find are Showers Pass and Hincapie Elemental. Anyone have any other suggestions. Thanks...JT

I recently got a Verge Entropa jacket through my club. It claims to be waterproof, and it has a two way zipper, I haven't worn it on a ride yet. I also have a jacket from REI, which is made from eVent fabric that has a two way zipper. I can't find it on their site at the moment though. It's for sure waterproof, but not very breathable. Finally, I have a Showers Pass Touring Jacket which has a two way zipper. It looks like all the showers pass jackets have two way zippers. The touring jacket fabric isn't breathable, but it's got loads of vents, so it's not clammy.

On the two way zippers. I've never unzipped from the bottom, and I find that having the second slider makes it much more difficult to get the zipper seated and started when you first zip up the jacket. It seems like a cool feature, but to me, it's more of a nuisance than a benefit.

YMMV.

Chris

The only reason I could think this would be useful is if you have your jersey pockets loaded with stuff, and want to access them without unzipping the whole jacket. At speed, it is sometimes hard to corral flapping fabric to rezip. best i got.

Two reasons for me:

Getting to pockets easier and another venting option.

Oh and I forgot one more criteria -- visible (not black, grey, etc). Thanks...JT
