Campy 10 cassette differences?

I keep trying to get straight about what cassette I'm trying to figure out, and I go back to a summary that Drew posted on RBR:
Quote:
There never was a Super Record 10 speed cassette.

Record cassettes came in all titanium and with the top four cogs titanium.

Record and Chorus cassettes had the four (11-21/11-23) or six (all others) cogs attached in pairs to alloy carriers.

Centaur and Daytona (except for 2009/2010 which were all loose) have the two big cogs on a carrier.

Veloce and below are all loose cogs.

Veloce was nickel-chromed and used the same small cogs as the rest, but became galvanized like Xenon/Mirage in 2009.
All good--but I am looking at a 13-29 all steel that has the last three pairs of cogs on alloy carriers. I am familiar with the Centaur 13-29 that had the last pair only (noted above), but am I looking at a Chorus 13-29 or a Record 13-29?

(Someone had posted about a different Record 10 12-25, calling it a Mark 2, since it had titanium cogs; I see the new Record 13-29 also has titanium cogs. Was there a Record Mark 1 that was all steel?)

I believe Chorus is what you are looking for, all steel cogs with six largest on three separate carriers vs four largest on two carriers for Centaur and of course Ti for Record large cogs and loose for Veloce. Veloce and Centaur are still relatively easy to come by, Chorus and Record not so much.

Chorus...no Record all steel in 10s(or 11s either, for that matter)...

To my knowledge....there was never a 13-29 10's cassette with ONLY last 3 cogs pinned together....other than the Record and Chorus that had last 3 and middle 3 together. . There was/is a 12-30 10's cassette with only last 3 together. 12-13-14-15-17-19-21-24-27-30. Also there is a 12-27 10's only last 3 together.

These cassettes are a little different than other 10's. (Such as the 13-29 and 13-26, etc). All spacers are 2.5 MM between the loose cogs (I have the chart that came with the cassette showing that). Other 10's cassettes had different width spacers in different places (I have all those charts also showing what goes where).

I believe it's chorus. I have the same cassette and it came on a bike that was full chorus.

Thanks all, I think I will assume Chorus.

I'm still annoyed that the Centaur 13-29 that changed from the last pair pinned to all loose cogs (like Veloce), and then back again. Of course I bought one of the all loose cog editions for Centaur money...

I could have sworn that I bought a 13-29 Centaur 10s cassette in the early 2010s, though! It had only the top 2 or 3 cogs pinned. It was loose otherwise.

Fair enough, but IME, loose Campy cogs don't groove alloy freehubs. Even the biggest cogs. The Campy freehubs have much deeper splines, hence more contact area. Also, didn't the Centaur cassettes have a better finish than Veloce? (For whatever that's worth, anyway. I think the Centaurs are nickel chromed, possibly more durable, but Veloce has shifted and lasted fine for me.)

Sure....you could have bought a 13-29 Centaur with big 2 pinned....but not 3. Rest loose. 12-30 and 12-27 Centaur had top 3 pinned, rest loose.

Looks like I didn't follow the thread closely enough. Too many cassettes out there. And I hadn't been in the market for a 10s -29 or -30 for a while.
