Talk me off the ledge

So I've ridden the NTM Fierte IT. Boffo. Rides like the Concours but a bit more spritely as it weighs less, mostly because of the Ouzo Pro instead of the F1 fork. Originally just a lark, I now see this as a long term relationship with 11 speed Campy in its future.

That brings me to the previous LTR bike, the Concours. I never, ever thought of selling it, even during the brief and ultimately unsatisfying flings with the custom La Corsa, a Colnago and Bianchi, and the current interesting dance with the Look 585. I even was ready to pull the trigger on a Craig Ryan refinish.

Now, grr. Living in a condo as we do now we don't have room for four bikes. (She has a CIII.) Despite vigorous efforts to make me part with it, I want to keep the Look. That leaves the Concours as the odd bike out.

Feedback welcome.

I had the same conundrum when we moved out here. The (in this case) Time VXR was the odd one out. Probably the same in the quiver as your Look 585 right now.

I miss it, but fwiw, those are always easier to find than the Serotta if it works for you. I say part with the Look.

And we're overdue for a ride. Once this rain stops...

Yes we are. Just starting to ride (semi-)seriously again. It feels good.

As for the Look ... jeez, are you and Dave conspiring?

Elephant pal, don't fall for it, they mean you harm.

You can send the LOOK to me, I will safe keep it for you even though it's 2 sizes too big.

More just the simple math of it. Nice examples of Look 585s can still be had through the usual suspects pretty readily and easily. A Serotta is always going to be a bit more rare bird. And not that either decision is a "good" one. Rather getting rid of the Look is the least bad option.

Fwiw, I still kick myself for selling the VXR. But it was the move that made the most sense.

I know the 585 has a big following, but, in my book, there are plenty of nice riding carbon fiber bikes out there, and they're lighter than the 585, too. So, in my book, finding a carbon fiber bike that rides as nice as the 585 is much, much easier than finding a classic steel like the Concours.

So you have the Fierte IT, Concours, 585, and your wife's bike?

Put the Ouzo Pro fork on the Concours?

Creative storage ideas?
http://feedbacksports.com/shop/bicycle-storage.aspx

Velo Hinge is a neat gadget for me to get my everyday bike stored in the garage during the summer out of the way but still convenient. Or a Velo Column?

the 585 - I would sell it now while there is a following. I'm with UJA...plenty of as smooth AND lighter carbon frames now.
