$40 rebate for pair of Michelin Tires

It looks like the retailer doesn't matter, just have to buy sometime in May

I don't know... the FAQ has this...

"submit your redemption online after purchasing four new MICHELIN® brand motorcycle tires. A valid receipt showing the valid tire purchase during the offer period is required to process your reward."

If I'm reading this wrong, let me know, because I'm always in for new tires at a discount!

You belong to a motorcycle forum, maybe? Not sure why you'd buy four...

Very tempting. I do hate gift card rebates, though. Fees and expiration dates
Anyone familiar with the Power Cup TLR tires? Rated will at

The 'fun' thing about those tires is how wildly inconsistent their widths are. I've bought 25s based on the BRR and WW measurements of 28mm on 18 IW rims (!!!). Mine are 26,7mm, so it's not like I can return them for being too narrow, but I wish Michelin knew what they were selling...

I have a couple sets but both are mounted with TPU tubes. I like them, I run
28mm at about 55psi (I'm roughly 130lbs) and I also have a set of 25mm running around 65psi. The 28s are really really smooth and roll nicely. Please note I am not hyper sensitive to the differences in tires though. I can't tell a difference between 28mm Veloflex Evo Corsa TLRs actually set up tubeless, measuring a hair under 28mn vs the 25mm Power Cup TLRs measuring 25.5mm

One thing to be cautious of, as noted on BRR, is the width of the tread. Apparently the width is really narrow and a lot of pictures surfaced of obvious cornering wear on the sidewalls from high lean angles. I don't ever lean that hard, and I do run these on narrower wheels (OG Reynolds Aero 58s and 1st gen Enve 3.4s). If I cornered and leaned hard, I'd probably search for another tire.

I've bought Michelin car tires this way and the store gives you a reward card/number that you have to use to claim the promotion. Has anyone seen a bike shop or online bike vendor issue this card/number?

Since the site sends you to Amazon as a possible place to buy your tires, I'm guessing it doesn't work like that in this case

I'll give it a go...

Alright... I'm trying this for us.

If you dig through this enough, you end up at...

https://www.michelinman.com/motorcyc...motions/spring

Forum sponsor (!) BikeTiresDirect *is* listed as an authorized online vendor on the Michelin site, so that's solid.

I just ordered 2 TS 28's in gumwall (BTD has them discounted, too... I wonder if that's going to muck it up), so we'll see if I can get the code from them and get a card from Michelin before the end of the month.

More to come.

I bought motorcycle tires with this rebate in mind, $60. Hope it comes through without a hitch.

If you use Amazon, just use the card rebate to add to your Amazon Gift Card Balance

Am I reading this wrong or is there a typo somewhere? Submit by April 30 for the March promotion for tires purchased May 1 -May 31?

It is "Spring II". Maybe the other was for "Spring I"
