Campy cassette play on King hub

I just picked up a new King R45 Campy 9/10/11 hub for use with Campy Veloce 9 cassette. I installed in the usual way (cassette can only fit one way onto splines, triangle guide facing me) and began riding. Torqued to 50 nM. I started to notice that things weren't as quiet as before, and then coincidentally while lubing my chain I noticed just a hair of movement or play with the cassette interface to the freehub body, not even a millimeter but quite noticeable. The same cassette on my Campy Record hub has no movement whatsoever. I took it apart and tried to see if I could seat the cogs in any other configuration, but all around I went and they only seat at one position, and with each one there is noticeable play. I should mention that the cassette is new too. Is this normal: is there more than one position where the cassette can seat, etc? I can take pics if that would help. Thanks folks.

All the spacers yellow??

Find a 1mm spacer, install first..tighten, adjust rear der...sometimes need this, particularly with a 9s cogset.
