Legend Ti serial number

Just noting that an ebay seller has listed his 2002 Legend, custom built for him. Serial number is CTI 59 04221. May be of help to someone that wants to pin down the year of their Legend.

Thanks, my Legend is #4095 so that makes it a 2001 or 2002 probably.

My CSI is CS 52 749 and the person I just bought it from said it was a 1996 model which is confirmed by some numbers I have seen on here and the Pearl White paint.

My Colorado III is CC 54 244 and I have a copy of the original order from a bike shop dated 2001.

My Ottrott is OS 54 1342 and I was told it was a 2010 but have not confirmed that.

Thanks for posting. Always nice to get a serial number tied to an original sale date.

Now can you tell me what to ask for a '52 Super M?

Anyone have any idea of what the model might be of a 90's Ti Serotta with a serial number starting in TM?

Serotta Davis Phinney

I have a Serotta that has serial SD57131. I am assuming that this is a Davis Phinney in a 57cm size but am a little confused because the bike has straight chain stays, not like the curved stays as mentioned in the catalogs. Sizing matches the 1989 Serotta Catalog with the 57.6 cm top tube. Anyone have any other information they can share?

Serrota Fierte TI

I have a Serrota Fierte TI serial number 919. Does anyone have a serial number close to this that would identify the year? The bike has Fulcrum wheels - I noticed some years had Easton and some had Fulcrum.
Thanks
Tom

I can't speak to the year of your bike but more often than not the customer either spec'd the wheels of their choice or purchased just the frameset and built it with their chosen components.

Perhaps we can sort it out with some photos. There weren't very many titanium models in the 90s, 1994 catalog shows only the Legend Ti and the ATi MTB.

Sounds like a Phinney based on the serial number. Pic of the stays? Best from above/behind without the wheel.

Are you sure it's not TI60L670? That would be consistent with a Colorado Ti or Legend. Pics of bike would help with the ID.
