OT: "Zlatan Time" aka all football / futbol / soccer / calcio / zlatan'sgame topics

for tuscanyswe (et al): "It Is Zlatan Time"

Well, that was fast.
190 seconds into his first match, to be precise.

Say what we will, the guy knows how to make an entrance (and exit, and entrance, and exit, and...).

Wow.
And Mou all, "Yeah, baby!"

It Is Zlatan Time.

Zlatan & Jose. Should be high entertainment all season long -- mostly in the post match interviews.

United could do very well this season -- but they also have a pretty good chance of blowing up HARD. But it will not be dull.

I knew you would like it, I think you'll have a lot of fun this year.

Me, with Inter? Not so much.

Pogba is not official yet. But rumored to be for a 110-120M Euro transfer fee.
And his agent is that scum Raiola, so who knows.

Ha ha! Wayne is so desperate right now: "I could play midfield if I had to, but Jose Mourinho has seen me scoring goals for 10 years."

Yeah tough opener for you guys but as you say its a long season.. Id be surprised if you weren't up there fighting for the league come spring. Tho id be surprised if you won it as well i guess. You need some match winners, you need zlatan tbh .)

Agree!! On the one hand, Arsenal's faith in their system and intricate passing has produced sustained oh-so-close excellence, but few trophies. Not since Henry have we had individual brilliance capable of scoring on their own. Our off-season signings were too little, IMO. Zlatan will pay dividends for you. We'll qualify for CL, but not lift any trophies again.

We'll see how de Boer does but in any case this was the best photo of the summer, for me.

Good riddance!

Uh oh, Climb...you DO NOT want this to happen, trust me!
You have been warned!

This is very accurate. I always enjoy watching Arsenal play but i wouldn't bet on em. Hopefully Z will do what he does best and continue to win the league but its going to be a very exciting season who ever gets the honor in the end. Even top 4 will require any team to play some really good football this year, perhaps even more so than previous years. City United Chelsea Arsenal Tottenham and Liverpool all have legit claims for top 4. Its gonna be great to watch! Esp for me coming from watching ligue 1 for a few seasons (well i watch a lot of other football too but i follow Z like religon )

Wenger should just accept the market is what it is and ask for more money to buy that striker you guys so desperately need imo. I know they run an excellent ship and is a club with great economy etc but seems to me the evolution is towards buying finished players, more so now than before. Not enough time trying to get young talent and create superstars if one wants to be at the absolute top. I dont particularly like that any more than Wenger but it is what it is so he can ante up or shut up imo .D

Haha some of Cantonas videos and media stuff have been really funny lately!

I dont know anything about de Boer as a trainer i must admit but Mancini obviously wasn't it either so.. 6-1 Tottenham, that can't have gone down well even tho its a friendly .D

Hah, I turned on this game just in time to see Rooney score and then saw Zlatan's goal. Had no idea I was watching a historic moment.
