My Lion has landed: Zanconato Mini Max steel road bike

Lots of eagles, roosters, hawks and other misc birds around these parts.

I landed a Lion of sorts.
Details coming soon! Hint

Some bits for the build:

got the tires final glue session in yesterday so they were ready for today!

And the initial setup

Gonna have to dial in the hood position and saddle, but wow, initial impression is good! Its significantly lighter than my other steel bikes.

Mmm, Ridley? But wait, they don't make titanium, do they? Color suggest ritte? The brakes are different for a reason I presume?

So many questions and can't wait to see some answers!

yes, light weight rear brake with Campy front brake for better stopping power where it matters. Ill play around with brakes for fun. i don't have a black front brake at the moment, but that may change.

the bike is not Ti, something else caught my attention for now.

Someone mentioned Ritte colors, which are derived from the Belgium colors, which is where the flag logo is derived from... so we are getting somewhere here. there's certainly a Belgium vibe going on here. will i keep that vibe in the end? not sure?

almost got it all cleaned up, just needed some lunch.

A man/bike truly after my own heart.
+1 on Belgian-themed bikes.
+10 on Belgian-themed bike in Campag attire.
And +100 on Belgian-themed Campag bikes ridden in Belgian-like conditions with the heart of a lion.

And it looks close to my size... where do you live????

Southern Oregon, and thanks. the heart is there even if the legs haven't caught up yet... Approx 55cm top tube sloped about 2 degrees.
Ill be riding in the most Belgium-Like conditions i can. Lots of crap roads, mountains, weather, and the such. gotta get my climbing legs on!

Yeah, that thing is sweet/classic. Love the mini max and would be awesome to see how it feels to put the pedal to the metal! Have fun with that.
