My Lemond Alzheimer's Tribute

So my Mom passed 7 years ago and I find myself thinking about her a lot when I ride. Generally when I'm "hurting" a bit on a Century or when I am nearing the end I think about my Mom. She has helped me finish more times than I care to think about.

I have always been thinking about how to have Mom on the ride and recently had a Lemond Versailles painted in Alzheimer's purple. The painter hand painted my Mom's and a friend of mine's Mom's names on the frame, so she is with me. Tomorrow I take her out for the first ride, an Alzheimer's benefit Century

Hope you like it as much as I do.

The guy that painted this frame is a local guy here in Brevard County Florida. He is a great guy and talented painter. I'm super happy with the work he did

My mom also passed away 7 years ago and had Alzheimer's. That is a nice tribute to your mom.
