looks great! that blue/purple is a fantastic color! really classy looking bike. like everyone, I dig some Peg paint schemes more than others, so it's really cool to see a simple, solid one for a change. i.e. they're still fantastic and beautiful bikes without having crazy paint.

I forget, are all 830's painted in a similar manner? I know it's named after "the time Dario starts work in the morning" but is it also his time of "f*ck it, it's too early to paint"?

From Gita website:

The 8:30 AM frameset is named after the great Weather Report live album and also refers to the starting time at the Pegoretti workshop.

got rid of the awful FSA crankset, thankfully. these new stronglight rings sure are pretty.

oh, and a gold chain, cause italians like gold chains.

thanks!

it does ride great! definitely race oriented geometry, super fast handling and very planted rear end. just a touch over 16# dry is a nice change from most of my steel bikes too. also, as much as i do like 11-sp - there is just something great about record-10. such perfect shifting!

Record 10 was my go to before I made the jump to 11spd. I love my duende cross so much I'm picking up a Marcelo as my next roadie. Gotta love the balance and feel of a modern Italian bike built by one of the absolute best!
