Dunno what ever happened to BTP but still had one of their carbon downtube shifters waiting for this bike. Campagnolo bits and a Syntace titanium bolt...

Nothing yet, the project is on hold until I find the desired crankarms. Meanwhile I have focused on my Peugeot because I want to ride from Amsterdam to Burgundy on it this summer.

Wellllll...okay but not much has changed: wheels will be Ambrosio Nemesis with Veloflex tubes, shifting will be 10sp Record but with the downtube shifter shown above and crankset will be polished Tune Bigfoot with black spider and CT2 chainrings...

A bit tired of searching for the correct nos Tune Bigfoots so I think about completing this build with carbon Ultra-Torgue instead. If I ever run into the right Tune cranks (172.5mm, silver arms, black 110mm spider, in perfect condition) I can always replace the UT cranks.

Bar tape is Brooks leather, stops are Gilles Berthoud with the logos removed. Think they are a nice match to the custom top cap with Campagnolo bolt...

I had this same conversation with Dave Kirk when I was in love with the Kona Roadhouse. I am very glad I called him and asked the question!

I love that blue, works perfect with the gold lettering. Very clean build.
