No Garmins. It appears I like to live dangerously.

I call BS!

Having two full batteries in your jersey pocket is NOT living dangerously...

I have always ridden Campy. (Except for one brief fling with fishing equipment.) But Steve's incessant raves are making me question my loyalty.

OT question for Socal Steve:

How are you getting on without a car?

Inquiring minds need to know.

I caved!!!

Went 2 1/2 months and then decided I needed the freedom of car ownership. Got tired of waiting on street corners for Uber drivers to show up and, I do truly make a horrible passenger ( just ask my wife ).

I've been meaning to start a thread about it, but I'm too embarrassed...

My eTap bike has all three: DA 9100 brakes (wonderful); eTap shifters and derailleurs; Shamals. They all play well together.

So, I'm old, ya know... and after three 911's I wanted something bigger, quieter, smoother and more comfortable. Massaging heated seats and autonomous driving features were a must as driving in traffic exacerbates my sciatica tremendously.

I found this 2015 CPO S Class Mercedes loaded with tons of very nice options for $50k off of sticker price. Was a lease return after 22 months, had 21k miles and looks, smells and feels brand new.

This is sort of what it looks like. Same body style, color and wheels. This is the closest picture I could find. The one in the picture is the AMG version, mine isn't.

Hey I'm older than you (barely) and would definitely slide into that one. But I'd have to sell an organ.

Not that expensive. Maybe an organ that you have two of...
