Thanks for letting me know! How did you unscrew the barrel from the base of the pump? Mine is pretty stuck on there. Or did yours manage to unscrew just by hand?

You probably got this already: Once the unit has been disassembled, and if the o-rings are in good shape, clean all seating surfaces, the ring, plunger shaft and gasket, then lube all above with grease before re-assembly.

MePaleo suggested I remove the top and swap the o-ring at the top of the barrel with the one in the middle of the piston. It worked perfectly! The resistance on the pump is a little higher than I remember (and I might be making that up), but at least it's functional!
