YUP.

Took it all apart and found the source of the original problem(water not draining).

The galvanized pipe is eating away at itself. Really evident after i cleaned out the pipe and made a fresh cut. You can see the bottom end of the pipe is much thinner than the upper half.

Just gonna put this bandaid on it until theyre ready to replace the pipes down to the basement. Did a quick dry fit late last night and saw I need to cut the pipe again to make the P trap fit. dont have my sawzall with me, so im cutting it by hand, so ill do it sometime this afternoon.
