I feel like Wiebes' problem wasn't sitting up too early, it's that she thought she was against the barriers and only had to check to her right to see if anyone was coming up - and nobody was. The problem was, she had drifted over and opened the door for Vos to come up on her left, and she didn't know it.
If you're a bike racer, nothing feels better than crossing the line with your arms in the air. Nothing. But I've never heard of someone posting up too early twice.
