The shop also has a Colnago Mexico there that is from the early-mid 1970's. For everybody who thinks of the steel Colnagos of having hit or mis finishing, suspect chroming, etc., this bike breaks the rules. The build quality is superb with exceptionally neat brazing, very elegantly thinned lugs, etc. The bike is entirely chrome and all of the parts are drilled/pantographed as per the high fashion of the era. It's a show bike from one of Merckx' builders from the Merckx era. That is what all of the shouting was about.
