What fork for my Waterford x-14 CX white frame?

Thinking about the All City Macho Man disc or Nature Boy.

Then there are the carbon offerings from people like Ritchey.

The head tube is straight 1 1/8, so no tapered forks.

What do you guys think?

BTW, the Waterford frame is for Cantilevered, but I think it might be cool with mixed disc and canti setup.

My X-22 is on the Wound Up. I have not ridden the original Waterford ones so cannot give a direct comparison but I have no complaints on the Wound Up. Stiff and light. I use the old XTR M900 cantilevers with it. No jittering or shuddering when braking.

It seems I mainly can only find 395mm a2c forks. I suppose this is very little difference, but any comments about the 5mm is appreciated.

All I can think is that 5mm shorter would slightly steepen the intended STA, etc.

i have a brand new nature boy steel fork if you decide to go that route pm me. youd most likely have to paint it its the fulton green which is cool in its own right but not likely to match , options.

What headset are you using? I think both King and Cane Creek make a 5mm baseplate race. We're basically talking suspension corrected geo here. If you have never ridden this bike you won't know the difference...maybe.

It may steer a touch heavy vs 400mm

I still think you should buy a Waterford fork. :-)

A buddy of mine has an enve canti non tapered for sale. That would look excellent on this.

I bought mine complete with the painted wound up. Else I would have opted for the steel Waterford fork too
