Eccentric bottom bracket with English threads?
So I'm working on a single-speed cx project and I'm trying to set it up with an EBB. The shell is PF30 (46mm) and there's plenty of EBB options for using a 24mm spindle crankset, but I've got some square taper cranks that I really want to use for this. What can I say, I'm dumb and stubborn.
Does anyone know of a 46mm EBB that takes English threading? Phil Wood used to make one, but it seems that they're not anymore. |

Eccentric bottom brackets only work with external bearings afaik, so it won't work with square taper cranks. But Wheels MFG makes an eccentric bottom bracket for BB30.
Edit: nvm, I guess square taper eccentric bb existed once Last edited by lexlion; 08-22-2017 at 07:37 PM. |

I would look at a tandem EBB insert. It might be the same size, if it is, Bob's your uncle. I can measure mine later when I get a chance, but specs should be available on line.

Unfortunately I think tandem ones (Bushnell included) are wider diameter than standard PF30.
