Rock Lobster 29r ss | Purple Hill Witch

Mr. Sadoff welded this up for me recently. 29r geo similar to my S-Works Stumpy, Paragon thru axle rear, Hunter-style rear wishbone, threaded BB, 44mm head tube, optional internal routing for dropper post.

Will remain gearless for a long time. Don't need more travel either, I'm not a gravity bro.

How do you like that rear tire? I've ridden it and can't make up my mind.

Fast in straight, digs in if you lean it but lacks traction on the loose climbs or under hard braking if the bike is upright.

OTHERWISE,

So far two rides on these tires. I have ridden Ardent's exclusively for the last 3-4 years and I think I will end up putting them on this bike as well.

I have had good luck with race front and rear. Long distance multi day stuff as well.

I recently setup a friend with Ardent Race 2.25 on the rear, standard 2.4 in the front. I've got an IKON 2.35 rear and Ardent 2.4 front on my BMC. Great tires.

This bike looks super great.

I have my hands on some purple ano for an upcoming cross bike. I was going to go purple paint, but I love this look of all black with purple accents.
