i too think that bike companies should offer replacement logos for free or nominal charge, it's just advertising for them when the decals on your nice bike look sharp and legible.

Try this
http://www.ebay.com/itm/MOOTS-Sticke...YAAOSwFqJWpvtj

You can request special colors (like chrome) too.

Yes, raw ti, no decals or paint, is ultra-elegant in my eyes.

You can always keep the head tube badge, if there is one.

7 wishes they were Van/Speed East. Decals should be at cost plus shipping for the original purchaser. JMO.

That green background behind the badge looks slick! Is it just a piece of color foil?

It's a scrap of a Mylar balloon. My wife has a piece of red Tyvek tape behind hers.

And yet we have yet to see any evidence to prove that point.

Per their custom decals. Def up there in cost but if you think about what it takes to design that and man hours along with the materials sought for quality and durability ... it adds up.

And even King bits can vary from time to time per colorway, I've seen it myself.

What design time, etc? It's the same design, and I would guess material, as their stock decals. $200/set is a joke.

Kish (and I would guess other builders also) will send frame owners replacements decals for free.

SEVEN STANDARD - $35/set

SEVEN "SPECIAL" - $200/set

KISH STANDARD - $0/set

.

I do not hold anyone but myself to this logic: Seven would have to pay me to put their decals on my bike. So, yes, I have no decals on my Seven. And yes, I ride a Seven and I absolutely love it!
And yes, I think $35 plus $10 in shipping is a lot of money for free advertising.

I'm with you and the post before yours...nice perspective you have on it. In the end what's so proprietary about a brand name/sticker when your the one offering free advertising on your dime?

For those prices I guess I would be content to leave the stickers off the bike and stick with a nice headbadge. I think a raw ti bike speaks for itself anyways but if the bike is painted then that changes things.
