Pruszkow was last week - it's Manchester this week. Live results are here: http://live.tissottiming.com/?id=00030E00&style=Tissot

Miserable? Jenn Valente got silver in the omnium last week, and won the omnium scratch this week.

Or maybe you're only talking about the men. Team USA men went 5 seconds faster in the TP this morning than they did last week. They're not quite a top ten team, but they've made progress in the past few years. Not long ago, there'd have been no way USA could field a TP team that could go under 4.20. Now there's a team going under 4.10. And a month ago they set a National Record, going 4.04 at the Pan Am games.

Those are all the first steps to going under 4 and having a team that can truly compete for a podium spot.

This is their first run at a World Cup season for this program. It's a long game.

You are right..I just watched a little, and US 13 out of 13 in team pursuit..

Yup, replays and do see Manchester now.

Is there a good way to tune into the Manchester action online? Is there a live stream anywhere?

This. Jen is a beast and now that Sarah Hammer has retired, she's going to be a big star (and comes from my club.) The women's TP are coming off a silver and a world.

The men's TP is a work in progress and this is more likely than not not the final version. They've just gone out there. At least there is a team out there this year.

Yeah, there a lot of guys going to those camps in Colorado. And some surprises come in and out - like Logan Owen being a part of the team at Pan Ams. And I think it's more than likely that as it gains some momentum it will attract more major motors. It's already leaving some pretty major talent home - Eric Young, Adrian Hegevary.

and yeah... Jenn won the Scratch and Tempo, took 2nd in the Elimination, so is rolling into the points finale of the omnium in a pretty strong position. Hoping to see her wind up with this World Cup gold. She's got big shoes to fill in taking over Hammer's reigns as a mass start rider... but she also seems like she has the engine to do it.

big shoes, reigns, engine... i think i'm mixing my metaphors a little.
