Scion has a 50% off sale - In trouble or Good Deal?

I'm on the Scion Website looking at the Aerocomfort 3.0.

It's 50% off https://sciconsports.com/us_en/aeroc...ck-tp053105013

Everything else on the site is 50% off as well.

Is something going on?

Is this just a fantastic price and take it?

Is there a new model coming?

Any other suggestions for similar types of bags at similar pricing?

Thanks

Looking at the Dimensions it also looks like it's not a good choice for 58-60CM frames as they won't fit with bars on as the maximum distance from the front axle to the top of the stem is only 65cm - is that right?

I have one and have used for my 60 cm bike no problem. However I run my bars fairly low. Might be an issue if lots of spacers on the stem.

I use it regularly as I appreciate the relative ease in packing and unpacking the bike and not needing to remove the stem/bars. However, I often find that the shifters have been pushed inwards when I unpack the bike. Since I use alu bars, I'm not so fussed about this and just yank them back into place. However, with carbon bars this might be more of a concern.

There is an EVOC case with a similar shape but hard plastic around the bars. Haven't checked but likely much more expensive.

It's a great case, but if you run a 60cm frame with a lot of stack or you run wide / flared gravel bars then you will have issues getting the bike into the case.

Any 58cm or smaller road / race bike should fit no problem.

You're being lied to. They're always 50%+ off, I've only considered the hard case and it's been down in the $600 range. How $900 equates to 45% off... shrug.
