Tomorrow is road trip time

Heading to Door Co Wisconsin for summer vacation. Bike will be loaded and ready to roll.

I generally like these long road trips and seeing different parts of the country. Pretty amazing how much freaking corn is grown in Iowa and Illinois!

And Kansas, and don't forget the cornhuskers in Nebraska! I'll never forget my first road trip to Omaha.....they grow corn in vacant downtown lots!

Safe travels.

This has been an eventful trip so far. My water pump died 3hrs into the trip. So I had to find someone to change it on Sat evening in McAlister OK. Made it to KC and stay overnight and then onto Door co on Sunday. This morning I had a flat on the bike and my spare tube had a hole in it. Found a shop and bought some tubes and finally got a ride in.

Paceline cap represent!

You should take up running! Much simpler .........

Ok, that out of the way.

Enjoy. Road trips are my favourite types of vacations.

I need to get the gravel bike done. There are lots of roads and trails I could take. Don't feel comfortable doing it on the Bedford.

Road tripping would be really hard for me now, what with having taken up paddle boarding and kayaking in addition to the bike ......

I may have to buy a BIG truck!

No MI this year, eh? That's the wrong side of the lake.

Have a great time. I'm way too old for road trips.
