Do you have the issue that I have with the Iris. That is its difficult to get a bottle in and out compare to the standard King Cage design.

King iris ss cages are what I had on it. I think they match the aesthetics and hold an average sized bottle with no issues. If you really want to splurge you can go king ti, but I still prefer the iris on this particular frame

I'd go with these: (and a bonus saddle option too!)

I love king cages. On steel bikes the standard ones, the TI ones don't look good on skinny tube bikes imo.

On bikes with black components or carbony bikes I do like the Arundels

I've been using these bottles for the past 3 months, but I haven't had that problem yet. They will probably get pretty messed up once the weather turns though.

I'd go king iris or nitto.

Or maybe fabric?

I'm using stainless steel King Cages. I love them.

I find the Iris tighter than the carbon cages on my other bike, but I don't find it difficult to remove or replace the water bottle
(and I never had a bottle pop-out when hitting a rough patch of pavement, but have with the carbon cages).

And they look great on my Ti:

That's one thing I love about the Iris--little tougher to use, but holds the bottles in there TIGHT when things get rough. I've done some pretty teeth chattering rides and have yet to lose a bottle. Can't say the same thing about most other cages I've had.

Salsa Nickless is an oft overlooked cage. Really good design. Looks right on a lot of bikes.

At one time Electra made an excellent copy of the Nitto R. Not sure if they still do.

This is easy -

Steel = King Stainless cages

Carbon = Various Arundel carbon cages

Titanium = Carbon or slim Ti cages

Aluminum = No cage (If you're riding aluminum, you're more than likely a masochistic bad-ass. Why would you need water???)

Nice Zanc! I keep considering having one made by him but there's a money issue, especially now that I have a Peg LOL.

I'm going to go with some Iris cages to see how I like them and go from there if I don't.

I'm fairly confident I will not change them once installed #toomanyscrews
