Announcing Serottaparts.com

Hi All,
I'm a bit overdue in letting you all know about a project I've been working on - Serottaparts.com. I've had this site up for almost a year now and have been populating it with content during that time. It's still a work in progress. It's a labor of love side project of my main gig - Cool Planet Bikes, LLC.

My goal has been to create a repository of parts and spares in one semi-convenient, semi-organized location so we can all spend a little less time scouring the internet for the stuff we need to keep our beloved Serottas on the road and looking good. I sourced most of these parts through many trips to upstate New York paying dearly for the various caches of Serotta stuff in the hands of enthusiasts, former employees, and the guy who bought the factory and all of it's contents.

While I have a pretty good collection going I am always interested in procuring more for my own bikes, my Serotta "restomod" projects, and for the parts repository. So please don't hesitate to reach out whether you're buying or selling.

Best,
Mac

P.S. I've been very happy to support this forum as an approved paying vendor.

Very cool man I think that sounds like a winner idea!

Question, will you sell an item you have listed on ebay to someone who visits the site? Hypothetically if a frame, fork, etc is listed on ebay would you see it to one of us who contacts you off of ebay?

No judgement by any means just curious

Sorry for the slow reply on this - yes absolutely. I far prefer selling directly to enthusiasts rather than dealing with Ebay and I can always do a better price off ebay without all those fees. Typically I use paypal for payment which has the same buyer/seller protection as ebay anyway. Thanks again for your interest.

+1 for Mac. He sold me this Salsa La Cruz Ti. After some discussion we agreed to part out a complete bike and he sold me the frame. Zero issues with transaction, shipping, and feedback.
