Oh Lordy, now I'm experiencing choice-stress. Thanks y'all for the deluge of suggestions.

I've begun negotiations with Eric Estlund, but the obvious solution to the disc-or-calipers problem is: LOTS of forks!

N+1 could take on a whole new meaning.

pretty much any builder can build you a fork. I was at my LBS and asked if they had any old forks in the back..,sure enough. of course that was a the bike Odyssey.
